Journey South-West/Old Victoria River Crossing Part I

FF
This Old crossing 6.6 km N.W from the newly constructed bridge was the only way across the Victoria River before the bridge was built near the Victoria River Roadhouse The area around Victoria River on the Victoria Highway would rank as one of the most beautiful and dramatic areas in the territory. The ranges rise in huge amphitheatres with rugged escarpments tumbling into scree slopes.
